Think about it… What does it mean to do to others what we wish they would do to us. We have heard these words so often that they may have become a cliché to us. Yet if we really live them out every day out lives would be transformed! We would be generous not stingy understanding and not harsh and kind not self-centered. We would graciously allows cars to merge into our lane in front of us. We would give the other person the last word. We would be openhearted and merciful with our loved ones, and we would work to understand our family members. We would apologize for the hurts we cause and we would seek to restore broken relationships! Thanks CBS for this great word!
Did you know that you do not need to react to others on the basis of what they have done to you? We can respond to them in the truth of what we desire they would do for and with us. Everyone, without discrimination is to receive such a gracious and kind response. Our love and our listening is our gift to the world. Reflecting on the golden rule today! Apologize for a hurt, and seek to restore any broken relationship. It just may usher in a healing moment! #legacynowlived!
