DesignHer Day #4!

25 years ago yesterday, I was released by my doctors to jump out bed and get off the medicine after 2 1/2 months of bed rest and meds galore! I had rested, I had prayed, I had worried, I had cried, I had laughed, I had dreamed of the day I would meet my new baby! I waited and held close to home to protect, and provide and love this sweet baby girl as she grew in my womb! And then…finally, within 24 hours, exactly 25 years ago today she was born! I have been her mom for half my life and I could not be more grateful. Some have called my pregnancies “a challenge” I have as well…that is true, neither one of my kiddos or me had a “normal” birth experience. It was so not “easy peasy”! Over the years I have learned that “challenges” are opportunities to see the bigger picture of Gods design for our lives. What a privilege it has been to have been given the honor of motherhood…thanks God for the opportunity! I am so blessed by Sarah Irene’s life, love, laughter and legacy! Love You to the moon Sarah!
