This Week’s Guest: Carissa Woodwyk
As a wife, I love having a best friend to share life with…someone who gets me, loves me for who I am, and invites me to offer myself to the world….
As a mommy, I’m learning to find the beauty and strength and glory in my little girl and little boy….
As a counselor, as an advocate of the human heart, it’s an honor to be invited into people’s lives – their joy, pain, fear, fragility, tenderness, strength….
In each of these roles, Carissa offers her story and voice in ways that invite people to connect with themselves, with others, with God.
She is a co-author of Before You Were Mine: Discovering Your Adopted Child’s Lifestory. She and her husband have two children and live near Grand Rapids, MI.
