LeAnne is joined by Ken Howard!
Ken currently owns his own private practice, Aspen Partnership, where his focus is helping people build strong attachment fabric with God, self, and others. Much of the work he does is helping couples recover from affairs, pornography, and sexual acting out. In the past Ken and his wife have worked under a government grant for Healthy Families Counseling and Support, where they taught relationship skills to pregnant, poor, and unmarried couples. While getting his Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy.
Ken also did in-home therapy for kids with severe mental and behavioral diagnosis as well as started a counseling site for Members of the InnerChange Freedom Initiative (a Christian Prison) in Lansing, KS. For the previous five years he worked at the National Center for Fathering as the National Seminar Director setting up large events where dads would learn how to be more effective fathers. Ken also served 11 years as a Combat Medic in the Army National Guard.

This Week’s Guest Ken Howard
Ken Howard is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT, S-MFT, MS) under supervision which means that he is working to get his end licensure from both MO and KS and until he has acquired all of his hours he has a supervisor reviewing his cases. Ken has four years of experience at Healthy Families Counseling and Support working with couples to help them gain skills and tools necessary to achieve strong attachment bonds with each other. Ken also has two years at Willowbrook working with kids that have severe behavioral and mental health diagnosis. Ken completed his bachelor’s degree through Mid America Nazarene University in Olathe, KS and his Masters Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Friends University in Kansas City. Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFT)is a lens that Ken prefers to look through when doing couples work as he believes that EFT attends to the attachment bond that all important relationships must develop, and he is working on his certification in EFT.
